Male or female? I find it is always fun to pick a theme. I started revisiting Parks and Recreation, so a Leslie Knope from Pawnee would be great and topical, considering the public works projects aspect of the show!
I chose my town name- Ethereal- because I wanted an enchanted, mysterious, deep foresty type of vibe, and chose forest animal dreamies. My town tune is currently Hedwig's theme to up the enchanted-ness! Like previous commenters, I'd say to try and consider an overall theme. I know some generic ones; like traditional Japanese, fairy tale, forest, and cutesy. Some random ones I haven't really seen are; food/sweets, oceanic, spooky, musical, city, wealthy...
i agree with everyone - having a theme in mind is really helpful. i adore lilo and stitch so i went with that, making my town name, character names, character phrases, town tune, town flag etc. all do do with lilo and stitch. i also love visiting das with a theme because it's so interesting to explore how people interpret certain themes <3
