I would hate it.
Seriously, that's no fun to do or to have.
You cannot build any bridges, houses will be too close. You can't make pretty pwp's near the houses because they are all in line. It just makes me feel very unnatural, and this game is so natural so it's just not right to me. But if you do decide to make this, I will visit your town in a dream, makes me curious how it looks.

While I don't care so much about the "natural" part, I will agree about the PWPs - I may adjust the houses to have some in the north, some in the south, the only problem I have with that is my town would feel super small :c
I'm going to try and get at least three people down in a line, and then I'll see if I can work with it, or if I should abandon it.

Then it'd be really easy to get them to ping you! Hehe, I don't know how to plot reset so the houses are everywhere, but I'd rather have a variety than cheat - no offense.Changed a few things up:
The blue houses are possible replacements for the green houses.
The yellow houses will stay put if I decide to change to the blue houses.
The red house is against the purple house in which one I would prefer if I decided to change to blue houses.
I also changed the Cafe and Police Station positions - I like the Cafe's position, but the fact that the police station is so close to the Beach Slope is what might make me change it. Other Police Station positions I was thinking about was the top left corner, on the left side of the train station, or the left side of Town Hall.
Any opinions on this?

I personally use photoshop to edit the maps, but you can also do it with other free programs, like Paint.NET

I have a strip like that in my town and most of my villagers have ended up there naturally. I like how they're spread out and varied distances from the cliff, so I wouldn't do this. Your town, though, so I think you should do what you like.

That's pretty awesome. If it were me, I'd move the houses up a little bit to put a path in front of them. lol, with your mayor's house up where it is, it's like you're an overlord ruling over them. I admire your dedication for attempting this.
I can't really move them up, because I have Lolly already placed, and I really don't want to cycle her, haha.
