Does anyone know if the 3DS stylus works with the Switch?

No. The 3DS stylus does not work with the switch. You would have to get one that works on smartphones to work with the screen of the switch.

i think like most others, it will have touch screen for patter designs for sure. seems easier that way and more likely. i dont think it's a feature otherwise that would be heavily used so i dont think the game itself will like, be made where you'll use it a lot outside of pattern making tho!

Of course it will have touch screen. The switch has that ability so why wouldnt it? Especially a game like animal crossing

I'd assume there would be some touch screen capabilities, even if it's just for inventory/item selection and pattern making. I don't remember using the touch screen for that much else in NL honestly, but that was probably just my style of playing. You don't need the touch screen for a lot of switch games, but most games do have some form of touh screen functionality in them.

I'm thinking they will when you're in the home design interface and when making designs but that's all

yup this is what im thinking too. or at least hoping! it would be a hassle to design rooms with just controls.
and also to design actual "designs" like paths, flags, wallpaper, etc.
