Just for funsies. Also figured other peeps could get some recommendations in case they’re looking for something new to watch!

My Top 5 (not in any particular order)

Lost
Stranger Things
Game of Thrones
The Haunting of Hill House
Breaking Bad

(Honorable Mention to my beloved My SoCalled Life, which was my fav as a teen)

I’ve been trying to think of 2 more to round out my top 5, but none stick out as obvious like my top 3 in no particular order:

Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Brooklyn 99

Lots of contenders to fill in the rest.

Last of Us
How I Met Your Mother
Loki
The Mandalorian

I actually barely watch TV—it’s just not my favorite medium. There is only one TV show I truly love. Another show I like a lot, and then there are a handful that I definitely enjoyed while watching them, like so:

The Good Place

Over the Garden Wall

Avatar:The Last Airbender
Parks and Recreation
Andor

The Good Place honestly feels like a TV show that was almost custom-made for me—I can’t imagine ever watching another show that spoke to me in the same way. I don’t keep up with TV enough to prove myself wrong on that, either. Maybe someday!

I need to watch Brooklyn 99!!! That’s my son’s girlfriend’s fav show!!! I literally JUST finished rewatching GoT and need to catch up on HotD as I’m a few eps behind.

Good to know!!! I’ll have to add it to my list! What platform is it on?

You’ll love it! Most hilarious show I’ve seen

And funnily enough, I just started rewatching GoT again! For maybe the 4th time haha. Next episode does not fare well for Ned :censored:

Ha! Yeah, my hardest ep to watch was “The Door”. I cry BUCKETS on that one.

I'm pretty picky with TV shows and I mainly watch 'adult' cartoons, so most of my top 5 are shows of that genre. :P

1. South Park
2. Metalocalypse
3. Futurama
4. Rick & Morty
5. ??? Unsure. (Animaniacs, maybe?)

Schitt's Creek
Mr. Robot
Succession
ATLA
Mindhunter

honorable mention to Station Eleven for which there was only one season but felt like it was made specifically for me

I don't watch much TV but I do watch bobs burgers on repeat. Or stupid shows on the food network like guys grocery games or Halloween baking champion

  • Friends
  • Community
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Jeopardy
Last slot is debatable....Phineas and Ferb? Andi Mack? It's between those and a couple others that I'm drawing a blank on

In no particular order:

The Last of Us
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
(the nostalgia goes crazy LOL.. I rewatched it a couple years ago when I had food poisoning 'cause I wanted something simple and comforting to watch that would distract me and not make me feel worse, and now it is.. a big comfort show.. I use it as background noise when I go to bed)
The End of the ****ing World (I have never had a show emotionally destroy me like that before)
Shameless (US)
Tie between Grey's Anatomy (seasons 1-14), WandaVision and Sex Education for the 5th spot.

I mostly watch kids' cartoons, these would have to be my favorite shows in no particular order:

1. The Fairly OddParents!
2. SpongeBob SquarePants
3. Hey Arnold!
4. Phineas and Ferb
5. The Simpsons (the only cartoon aimed at adults to actually make the list.)

-Star Trek(includes The Original Series,The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine)
-The Sopranos
-Resident Alien
-Flight of the Conchords
-Red Dwarf

These are the first five that popped into my head but I'll feel funny if I don't include:

-Ted Lasso
-King of the Hill
-Battlestar Galactica(both the original and the remake)
-Family Guy
-Lovejoy

1) The Simpsons will absolutely always be my favorite
2) RuPaul's Drag Race
3) Law & Order
4) The Twilight Zone
5) Cold Justice

I wish there was more actual discussion on this forum instead of just lists and answers. But this is a topic dear to me, and a difficult one to answer, so here we go!

Series
Game of Thrones
The Wire
Breaking Bad
Umbrella Academy (although the last two seasons are worthy of discussion)

Shows (specifically sitcoms)
Big Bang Theory
Seinfeld
Cheers
 Friends

(Honorable mentions to Malcom in the Middle, My name is Earl, Brooklyn 99, and Community)

Best animated
King of the Hill
Futurama
Bobs Burgers
South Park
Rockos Modern Life
(My honorable mentions here would be a massive list....)

I think this would be my top 5:

- Stargate SG-1
- Stargate Atlantis
- What We Do in the Shadows
- Adventure Time
- FROM

Runners up.. The Office (US), Parks n Rec, Community, Bob's Burgers, Firefly, Buffy, Charmed (og), Severance
