I know that gold tools are considered the "best" by many crossers. I like silver and wooden tools though. I really don't like using gold tools for day-to-day actitivies.

Which tools do you have or would you prefer to have?

I like the gold tools for everything except axes, which I prefer to have silver. (because of stump designs lol)

I like the gold cause the color is really close to yellow and that's my fav color, plus gold tools are usually yellow and purple which are Wario colors

And being a huge fan of flowers, I can't go wrong with a watering can that waters 9 flowers at once.

silver for me. My golden shovel have been sitting in my storage since the day I received it. Seeing the money rock drops ore is incredibly satisfying.

I like gold for the watering can and axe, other than that I usually prefer silver (especially for the shovel) but I'm not too fussed about getting either the gold net or the gold fishing rod.

I really like the way the silver tools look. I enjoy having a gold axe because I hate worrying about the axe breaking, but as far as appearances go, I don't really like how unnecessarily fancy it seems to have things like a gold shovel or a gold watering can. Silver looks much more natural to me.

Yup, this! Why have gold and not use them? That's like having a set of fine china irl and only using it once in ten years on the very most special occasions! I learned many years ago to get that fine china out and use it every day. My family and friends are worth it! I love having my nicest things out all the time. If something gets broken, so what. It's just stuff, right?

But back to AC tools...I like knowing that bugs and fish are easiest to catch with the gold tools. Kinda like magic..lol. And water with a plain can? NO WAY!

I prefer the looks of silver tools, but use gold. However, as others have mentioned, I use silver axes when in need of special stumps.

I was under the impression that that could ONLY happen with the silver shovel.
