Timetravelling question

This is kind of hard to explain so i'll try my best, and I hope you understand me.

I'm a bit confused when it comes to timetravelling back and forth, and "a new day" in the game. I timetravel if I need something or has nothing left to do in a day, sometimes I timetravel many days ahead while looking for something like Celeste. And every new day you're met with Isabelle and the morning announcements, this also means there is new items for the day in the Nooks store. But I've found that sometimes if you travel forward and then backwards again to the same date, there is no "new day", you'll get no announcement from Isabelle and the Nooks still have the same items in the store as of when you first traveled to the date. But it's only sometimes that this happens, not everytime, so I'm very confused. What are the facts here I don't get it?

I don’t get it either dw, before I reset I time travelled a bit and every time I went back to the date it acted as the same day but I’m pretty sure that’s because it was in such a small time frame (the same week) whereby I skipped a couple of days then went back

Yeah but I usually dont skip ahead more than maybe a week or so, and I don't understand why it only happens sometimes that it acts like the same day as earlier, and sometimes it dont and its a new day. But I realized if I tt way back ahead, like a few days, then tt to the actual current date again it will always be a new day.. ? I don't know lol I'm confused to how it works

Me too, I guess time traveling forward is somehow always a new day and travelling back is just a bit messed up
