Time Travelling: Your thoughts

I was just wondering. What's your opinion on TTing? Would you do it? Do you do it?

I personally think it defeats the purpose of the game which is to live a second life, so to speak, going through it daily. The most I've ever skipped ahead is a day (when I was an impatient child and just HAD to see my expanded house) and a few hours so I can go on before school and get into the shops. So if I'm honest, I'm not a big TTing fan. However I'm not going to try and stop people doing it. It is their game, after all. I just never would.

Hehe, I knew another thread like this would pop up again.

I can understand why you'd think that. The game pretty much wants you to play it day by day and learn to be patient, which is why they build public works projects the next day or expand your house the next day etc. But it's not like they are completely preventing you from time travelling. If they did, they would have removed the time changing feature altogether. I used to dislike time travelling and I kept telling myself when I first got the game that I'd never do it, but eventually I ended up doing it anyway. If you play games late at night (for the most part) like I do, then you'd understand it'd get boring really fast to be playing when all the shops are closed.

In the end it's really just personal preference and another style of playing the game. I don't understand how it would affect another persons game, so it's kind of pointless to be seeing people bashing others just for changing the clock on a game.

Personally I don't use it in my game. But if others want to use it they can if they want because its their game.

There's like a new TT thread every week. They have been really plentifully this week though..

I don't care if you TT. I don't care if you even brag about all the cool stuff you got from TT. You bought the game, you play how you want. And TT's are nice enough to let me go into all their cool shops that I don't have yet and let me change my hair early on.

The NL forum is so active right now that if a thread isn't extremely popular and active it's going to get pushed back onto the 2nd and 3rd pages really fast.

Just for the record, this is a highly active site, you can usually scroll back 5 pages of "New Posts" and still find threads posted on that day or the previous day. That's why "Search" should be everyone friend. LOL

There's no reason to be judgemental and rude towards me because I didn't mean to start any arguments. It's sad how angry this place gets sometimes. Next time I suggest you search the forums to see if there's already a similar discussion going on :3
I have no idea why you're bringing age into this though
