Time travelling past events: can I go back and do it?

I'm currently time travelling trying to get a villager out and I really want to participate in Halloween but I'm scared if I time travel past it and later go back to 10/20 (today's date) so it can organically reach halloween, will I still be able to participate as normal and get Jack's furniture and lollipops etc?

Yes, you'll be fine! I used to time travel a lot and was still able to completely participate in events when I went back to do them.

tbh every once in a while i'll just time travel to holiday to do all the activities
