Time Travelers vs. Non-TT'ers - Better Playstyle?

Where are all these people who criticize TTers and express superiority? I mean, the overwhelming theme in this thread is "I don't care how others choose to play" and "I hate when non-TTers act superior over TTers." I just think it's weird how vehement people are getting about this when I hardly ever see anyone who is overly judgmental about TTers. In fact, it seems like it's almost gotten to the point where non-TTers are afraid to speak up about their views on time-travel without saying something like, "but I don't care if others do!" Both sides should be able to express their opinion and play the way they want.
Well, I don't think that they meant this thread in particular. But there have been threads in the past where people have said things along the lines of "TTers are a cheaters!" "I refuse to play with TTers/visit their towns/let them into my town" "The game needs to be played this way!" "They're doing it wrong!"

But even in those threads the majority of people are respectful of how others wished to play their games. The last time that I was on a thread where this sort of thing happened, there were maybe 2 or 3 non-TTers that felt the need to belittle TTers while a bunch of non-TTers actually defended the TTers rights to play the game as they wished.

So in the end I think that most people don't really care about how you play your game.

It's just that bad impressions tend to make a bigger impact so sometimes people just have trouble remembering that most people don't really care about how others choose to play the game.

I actually saw a thread a couple of weeks ago with someone saying they needed to come to someone's town to use Shampoodle or something, and clearly stated "I WILL NOT GO TO A TIME-TRAVELER'S TOWN". In all caps, just like that. Yes, I agree that people should be able to state their views, but sometimes they just take it to a whole new and unnecessary level.

I've time-traveled before, because my game was saved on a digital copy, and then when my SD card became corrupted, I lost all my progress a week after I started. I was frustrated that I lost a week's worth of time, when I had already gotten 2-3 home upgrades and unlocked the island. After I time-traveled to catch up the week's time that I lost, then I stopped. I don't think time-travel is evil. I think it can be useful in certain situations.

I tend to not enjoy the game as much if I time travel. It feels like I'm just defeated the purpose of the game.
Unless, I have a cycle town, I won't time travel, but that's just my personal opinion.

When I first got the game, never played any of the past games, I TT'd alot. Then I got to a point where I was bored with the game because everything was going so fast. So I decided to slow it down and stop the TT'ing. Now I take it one day at a time. I do, on occasion, change the time to benefit something thats happening on that day.

On my first game I played without TT-ing, sometimes would change the time to sell stuff I caught on the island but that was it.

I started a new file now and I want to have this town on the same level of my first one asap, so I'm TT-ing a lot. Only downside is that I don't have patience to farm for PWPs every day. :/

You guys who keeps going back and bumping these old threads

Yeah, it's getting really annoying.

I don't mind time traveling at all. In fact, I do this because I like to get things done quick as I don't have patience, but I'm not overly fond of bumping threads.

I'm in favor of TTing. I personally don't regard it as cheating. I've never been into the real time idea ever since I got into making a shop. I personally am apathetic to the fact that it's probably "not how Nintendo intended for players to play it", although I personally agree that it's most likely true, with the techs that go against.

I only TT when I really want to unlock something and it takes a week for it to be done. Besides that I actually wait. If you are worried about weeds and cocroaches then get the beautiful town ordiance. You loose villagers if you TT far and alot.

Yes, I did bump about 15 or 17 last night.
I don't see what the problem is with that.
Sorry that it bothers you people, for some ridiculous reason or another.
However, as I have had to state numerous times. I stopped.
Let it go. Move on. Ignore these threads, and they will disappear back into the
oblivion where they most surely belong, regardless of whether they're relevant or not.
Simply because they were created quite a while ago.
But you see, when someone posts a thread that is similar to one that has already been posted a while ago,
the general response is, "Oh, another one...How many of these are there going to be?...This is so annoying."
So, from what I've gathered, there's no pleasing everybody. Most people don't seem to mind posting in an old thread.
So, again, I don't see the problem. Although, I have stopped.

Ahh, old threads don't really bother me. People seem to be enjoying them. There are a lot of new people on here all the time, so this time travel thread is new to some.

I just got the game (on christmas), but I haven't TT'd yet, and I don't really plan on it, just because school's going to start up next week and it will really help me limit how much I play a day. I think it'll be fun to get all the shops and things slowly, and I like the anticipation and what not. The only thing I /might/ TT to do later if I have time is get the villagers i dont want out and the ones i do want in.

I TT'd alllll the time in WW and it never got old, so for me this go around is just something different and more casual for me.

i TT a lot. im v impatient and i have a faster-paced playing style. i take more pleasure in designing my town and such than doing all the daily rituals. that and bc of school i often don't get to check in on things daily or play during good hours, so it's nice to know that my town won't die if i don't come back to it every day and i can just pick up where i left off with no consequences. i've got enough anxiety as it is i don't need to be stressed out about animal crossing lmao

tbh i get why ppl don't TT or whatever bc it does kinda take some of the fun out of the game but its just. its not for me. i could never do day by day.

I made a rule that I can only tt within the same day :P And that's just because I play at night a lot and don't want to miss out on everything! I have no problem with those who tt ahead, but I know personally that I would get soooo bored of the game if I tt'd so I don't do it! There's times I wish I could tt ahead to another season, but I don't want to risk losing anyone :c
