time travel question?

so i gave cyrus an item to customize while i was time traveled about three days forward, then i time traveled back to present time. i was right in expecting the project to not be complete yet so thats not what im worried about, what im worried about is that was like four hours ago and the project is still sitting there uncompleted....please tell me he isnt going to literally wait until like 4 pm on tuesday to finish this stupid kettle

I think OP meant they time-travelled forwards 3 days, THEN gave cyrus project, then time-travelled backwards to present day.

i've never time-travelled backwards after handing cyrus an incomplete project, not sure how this will play out.

Time travelling backwards is a funny business..
I time travelled backwards by a month after I had planted trees and none of them had grown at all. So it doesn't affect things like that. It will affect villager move-outs and move-ins, though. Aurora was moving out on the 20th, but I time travelled backwards a few days and she ended up being in boxes on the 17th instead.
Just be careful.

update: the kettle is done now and its only sunday the 22nd . weird
