Time Travel Question

So I am going away for a week
Im not bringin' my 3ds but I don't want any of my villagers to move..

If I play today (the 11th) , leave for a week, come back (the 18th) and change the date to the 12th, will It still count as a week or no...?

As long as you do not load your game with your game clock set to any day after the 11th, it is like those days have not happened yet, so loading your game on the 12th is safe (unless one of your villagers has plans to move out on the 12th).

Honestly that blog kind of over complicates things for a short hiatus. Just write down the last day you play. When you get back and choose your character, BEFORE you log in, tell Isabelle you need help first and then travel back to the last day you played. Then you can play and slowly get back to the correct day.

I would say, save the day you leave, and dont touch your DS
when you come back, load the 12th, and you will be fine
