Time Travel Question~

So I just got one of my dreamies, and I want him to set his plot down today so he can move in tomorrow, but I'm a bit confused since I've never done this before.

If I Time Travel a day forward and make a new character after TTing, will I be able to do the plot reset trick? Then, after I delete the character, I TT back to today's date and everything should be fine, correct?

Yes, as long as you don't start the day as your mayor. If you want to use Isabelle, you have to set the clock to 5:58am, save, quit, wait a few minutes, and go in as a new character. If you use the 3DS clock, you can just go right in as a new character. Look around, see if you like the plot location. If not, quit without saving and go back in as a new character. If so, make sure you put down a house and save with Isabelle. You can then delete the house, but the plot will be locked where you want it.

Don't accidentally go in as an established character or the plot will be locked down.

So if I change my 3DS clock to, let's say, 7 AM tomorrow morning, I can go straight into making a new character and doing the plot reset trick from there? I've done the trick before so I know how to do it, I've just never time traveled before doing it (the only time I did it was on a new day so I didn't have to time travel at all). ^^
