i have a couple of questions. ive heard that if you time travel backwards you don't get weeds. is this true? can you time travel backwards and get grass to regrow without getting weeds?

i think this warrants repeating, but i'm going to paraphrase...
SOME CONS:
people can do what they want with their game - they bought it, after all.
i don't agree with time-traveling because it means that certain items are introduced at the wrong times (from events in the future or past). in a way, it is sort of like hacking in that the game is not being played the way it was intended. just because you can time-travel doesn't mean you should.
if the time-traveling is used to gain money, this disturbs the economy of the game. you end up with players who are unnaturally wealthy, and items in the game are thereby cheapened. players playing the game correctly become poor in comparison - in reality, it should take a certain amount of time and dedication.
in conclusion, you miss the opportunity for both the respect you would otherwise garner, as well as personal satisfaction from achieving all of that, through no means other than playing the game the way it was meant to be played.
