I know a lot of people are plagued by this. Including myself. I try to wait until I have all my villagers, but I get impatient and make the path anyway. Afterwards I usually regret it. Because the villagers put their houses not only on my golden roses(previous data) but on my path. Then what? I have to redo my path. Is anyone else upset by not being able to choose where the villagers put their houses?

After I had a villager destroy some of my path, special tree stumps and flowers I started plot resetting. It was better than having my hard work ruined :(.

OMG yes. I very recently had Knox move in on my path right in front of my campsite area I made. It's taken to my making sure that anyone who comes over has a clear void and I'm currently on a crusade to get him OUT.

This is also why I normally plot reset; I just wasn't expecting anyone to show up in my town. >.<

Yeah, it's happened to me several times, always in a particular spot (right in front of the town hall) and it ruins the flow of my path...

I mean every time a villager moves in unexpectedly, that's where they go. Every. Time.

I feel your pain.

Never expected, but they show up anyway. >.<

I accidently selected my mayor while plotting Ken. thankfully, he didn't move on a path.

I don't really care. Its a game where we shouldn't cheat. But, I am very impatient.

I was trying to plot Whitney this morning, but then I accidentally clicked on my mayor and then she moved where I was planning on putting my paths, now it'll have to be a really thin path between the area.

My idea for the next game is that we have control (plots) where villagers move in. Mayors have this it's called zoning.
So we set up little house signs like from previous games, and then villagers can only move there. If only, please Nintendo.

Had this happen to me while I was trying to put Tiffany's house in a nice location, then BOOM! accidentally loaded mayor, & Tiffany carelessly ruins the forest surrounding Stonehenge; now I have to get her out of town and cycle till I get her back again, because shes actually one of my dream villagers >.>

I hate it too, which is why I now go through the hassle of making sure I adopt a villager right after one moves out and then spending all the time plot resetting. It's so aggravating.

Bluebear didn't even plot completely on my path. She just plotted on half of it.

I have this problem a lot because I'm personally too scared to plot reset ahah... I'm terrified that I'll lose the villager moving in or mess up my town in one way or another. It doesn't help that I'm not crazy about time traveling either, and I usually only do it to move a villager out faster or finish a PWP faster. The most recent villager I had move in was Zucker, and he moved in DIRECTLY in the middle of one of my main paths. And to rub salt in a fresh wound, he moved in right by the southern cliff face of my town, looking onto the beach, with Punchy's house behind him so I had to awkward steer my path in between the two houses, while still making the area look half way decent. This whole situation generally SUCKS because Zucker is a dreamie of mine, and he won't be moving out any time soon. SIGH.

Oh ugh it was terrible! Mira had DEMOLISHED my bushes and hybrids, I didn't even know she was coming, must've been a void. I cried and cried because that was where I was breeding blue roses and those were my ONLY blue roses I had. It was terrible, I worked hard on getting more but none came, dang you Mira if you weren't such a good looking uchi I would have booted you out the second you moved in, I would TT like crazy until you were out, you took out so many hybrids and part of my path! Kid Cat moved directly over a path one time, I was plot reseting luckily and I was so relieved that I was! Also that makes me feel bad for Fang because he is the only one living on the other side of the river and everyone else is all bunched up on the one side with the mayor and my house. I 'm glad they all live on one side though, I have pwp area on the other side for one side is a neighborhood and the other is a side with many attractions. I like to think of my town that way, it seems organized too since retail is by the train station which is the side of town with Fang living there.
