This is probably a silly question but How does Nintendo Zone work?

I know right now in NA they have the newspaper helmet available in Nintendo Zone's until the 9th. But, i went by today and never got it. From what i was told i had to go a Nintendo Zone (Best Buy) in my location and connect to the internet and get it from the post office. I tried that, but Pelly was acting like i was trying to download the dlc again.

Am i missing something?

Maybe it's not you, but it's just the specific location that you went to didn't have the thing running. Sometimes when there is a Pokemon event running at EB Games for example, certain locations don't run the event for some reason. Probably the employees can't be bothered. I would just try another location if I were you.

Maybe, i mean i tried explaining to one of the guys working there what i was trying to do but he didn't know what i was talking about. The next closest location is 30-40 minutes away and i'm not sure i want to drive all that way or not. I guess if i don't make it out there i could try and get the newspaper helmet from someone on here.

The closest Best Buy for me is at least 20 miles away and a half-hour drive. And since I don't know how to drive yet, there's no way my parents are willing to drive that far.

Yeah, I'm fairly confused as to how this works too. Cause I tried connecting to the nintendo zone at the future shop in my town, but it wouldn't let me...

A lot of people have had huge problems using the NZ when the Japanese items were released.
The best places to go in the US are Burger King and Home Depot. The US posters had the best luck there. Some said Barnes and Noble works.

McDonalds and Best Buy didn't work for most posters in the US. Think the Nintendo webpage isn't up to date on their NZ lists.

In Canada we have to add McDonalds to the connection first than go to the internet and agree to the terms. Once you get thru it if you lucky you can open your game and get the present from the post office. Each time we visit McDonalds we have to agree to the terms again.

Future Shop in Canada is now Best Buy. The staff are still Future Shop works and have no idea about the NZ. A lot of customer have asked and they have no answers. If it's not working in the US than I don't see it working in Canada.
