idk i just thought of this thread

my dumb theory
Marshal is literally a marshmallow and the little "hair" on him is actually burn marks so he's always pissed off about it.
 
Zipper is an animal and not someone in a costume, the zip on the back is just a part of him the same as our lord and saviour Hopkins has a blow-up thing on the back of his head

hence why Zipper has working eyelids

Nintendo actually pays very close attention to what fans what and does about half of the ideas, and then does the opposite for the other half. For example, the included outdoor furniture and terraforming. Awesome! However, they made multiplayer a pain and I have a theory the RNG isn’t totally random. I think they rigged it a bit so the typical favorites show up less often and Bitty and Patty show up 15 times. Kidding kinda.
