Do you guys like to have all 10 of your villagers as different species or do you like to have multiple of the same species? In my main town i have 10 different species but my secondary town I'm deciding whether I'd do multiple of the same species or not

I try to have each villager be a different species. I think it makes my town much more interesting. Since you can only have 10 species of villager at a time and I like pretty much all of them, I would hate to restrict myself even further.

I like to have a bunch of different species. I don't mind having 2 villagers of the same species for a while, but I would eventually move one out for a new villager.

I think towns with all one species are pretty cool and don't mind visiting them in the dream suite, but they're not for me.

I have one town with different species and one town with all cats because.. well I?m a cat fanatic

I currently have a mix of all different species, at one stage I was considering having all cats but I love Chief too much, and not all personality types are covered with wolves. z

I have two towns: One is a collection of random villagers I like or have never had before and have to see if they grow on me. The other is a town of 10 bear cubs. Adorable. If you would like to visit at some stage, I will be sure to update my dream address at some stage and let you guys have a look. They are just so cute!

I think if I had all of the same species it would be all deer, but not all deer are my dreamies so in my town I don't have any of the same species ... ☆

I used to have a town full of nothing but cats in the original animal crossing, but with wild world I wanted to try something new, so I went for almost any kind of villager, except for a few, like anteaters or birds (don't care for them). And with New Leaf, I'm currently trying, out even the ones I don't normally like, so long as they move into a spot I want them to move in and not somewhere annoying, like right next to or under my town hall, train station ect.

It gets boring, at least to me, having just one kind of species, even having a town full of only your dreamies gets boring eventually. :/

I have towns with villagers that are assorted species and I also have some single species towns.I don't get bored with having only one species in a town because I make sure that I have at least one of each personality type.

I don't know that I'd opt for a single species town. I do have one of my towns as an all-bird town, but it has a representative from each bird species (Bird, Chicken, Duck, Eagle, and so on). Two or three (or even more, depends) of the same species is cool, but I don't know that I like nine or ten villagers of one species enough that I'd dedicate a town to them. I have so many different favorites that I couldn't even fit all of them in my four towns, so more likely I would just adopt those villagers I missed out on instead.

I go by who I feel "fits" my town (appearance + personality) not by species. Tho there are certainly animals types I prefer, or tend to not like.

I like to have any species I think looks cool. Right now in my town, I have 2 eagles, 2 bear cubs, 1 bear, 1 Sheep, 1 Oshtrich,, and 1 Anteater!

I go with assorted usually BUT if I had to pick a type it would be the squirrels cause they are cuuuuuuuute

I wouldn't mind having an all deer, all duck, or all frog town. But I would rather variety if I can help it. I don't mind one or two of the same type in my town, tho.

i pick cat only town or wolf only town

well its fine if i have many types.
i dont mind if there is 2 of the same type
Viche and Cece both live in a single town that i own.

Well i prefer variety to similarity, although i don't mind having like around 2-4 villagers with same species. I currently have 2 cats in my town; Rosie and Tom

I prefer having all different species because it gives more of a variety and adds a lot more fun to a town. Sometimes I like to move out some old villagers and bring in new ones just to keep things going fresh. If I did have an all one animal town, I would probably pick cats too. I grew up with cats (like four of them), so that's why I would pick them. c:

My first town has a variety of species and some doubles. I want to eventually switch up the villagers in that town though but I'm a bit hesitant to relandscape the whole town right now because I can't plot reset anymore (I have 4 residents). My second town is mainly a "bird" town (2 birds, 2 ostriches, 1 eagle, 1 duck, 1 penguin, 1 chicken, and 2 dogs) but those are still multiple species. It's just more bird themed.
