Hi! Essentially the title. I know Nintendo ceased its support kinda on the game and now has a version of it on the mobile stores for $9.99 USD. To those who bought it, do you still play, is it any better/different, or much of the same?

I play the game every day, it's still the same as the old one, but with more features added:

There is a new location on the map called Whistle Pass, you can attend K.K. concerts from 7:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m.
It is possible that you can get a sticker featuring a villager's head by another player when you interact with them—the villager is the player's literal follower.

The leaf ticket currency has been replaced with leaf tokens—it is now possible to obtain some leaf tokens by purchasing 10,000 bells every once per month.

You can also obtain complete tickets by completing certain events.

Instead of the friends' list, now we have friend cards, you can add them by scanning QR codes that can be found anywhere by browsing for currently active Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete-related social media posts.

I just bought complete a couple weeks ago and I've been playing it every night! I played it a few times off and on back when it came out but ultimately had to stop bc microtransactions were not safe for me lol. But now that you can actually get all the cute stuff without paying a bunch of money, I've been playing daily and enjoying it a lot. I just wish it was still online because it does feel kinda empty without other players. :(

I was curious how the game worked without microtransactions! What's the process for getting all the neat stuff?

I play more often now but sometimes life gets busy so I sometimes forget to go on. I like it better now that there are no microtransactions. You now get leaf tokens and they are so much easier to get. There are a few ways to get them and now I can actually get all the fun fortune cookie items.

Yeah I'm usually kind of on and off with it but been playing a lot recently, playing made me think to check this site today actually. It's one of the most fun phone games I've played for sure. Complete is way better than the original because so many unique items are readily available, the game was made easier in some ways, and more stuff was added. Most of the crafting materials you need are easy to get and instant or fast to make things. I like how there is often an event going on, and it's not too difficult to get those items. Since many furnitures are quick to obtain, and villager maps are easier to get and use, I can enjoy inviting lots more different villagers to my camp. While there still are technically other players, unfortunately less social features now, but adding friends is still useful. The only real downside is, I wish I had a lot more space to display more of these nice items I'm getting. Overall though, great game, would recommend.

I still play fairly regularly. I've been trying to play more lately and I've been enjoying it. I started playing when it first launched but kinda fell off because I didn't like how gacha-like it was becoming. But with complete making tokens easier to get because there's no more microtransactions I've had a lot more fun, and a lot less frustration and FOMO. And I've been able to get a lot of the cool stuff that I never would have as someone staunchly against paying for a chance to MAYBE get what I actually want. The amount of times I get everything else besides the one thing I want in a set...🙄
