The Roost and Art Exhibit confirmed?

I saw a few tweets this afternoon from people who have been getting dialogue from their villagers about Brewster. Link to a tweet with a video of Clay mentioning him
Considering his name is highlighted I'm super hopeful that he's gonna make an appearance soon. Personally I'm hoping that The Roost is in the museum again. The stand-alone cafe was cute but being in the basement of the museum was so much cozier.

I also saw this page on Animal Crossing World where Fang mentioned the art in the museum. I guess he could be referring to the fish, bugs, and fossils but I'm hopeful that art (and Redd!!) will be back too.

yeah i always figured they would get added in with updates at some point! in a datamine they found code for doors i think? for an art section and the cafe! i have a lot of space in my "main" area and even my 2nd level that i could reorganize to fit in more buildings if i need to

If they do update the museum I sure hope they make the outside of it more intricate. I always thought it looked a bit bland compared to the interior.

For those who have mentioned needing extra space for the café I believe I read somewhere about that being a museum upgrade (alleged data-mined info, not sure if totally accurate). So it would be like back in Wild World where Brewster is inside the museum and you wouldn't need extra space Hopefully that would be the case and it would kind of make more sense since we don't have as much space and no mainstreet on the islands.

Two door entrances have been datamined since the 1.1.1 update for both the cafe and gyroids. With these new dialogue added I hope someone checks through the code again and see if anything new has been added to indicate the art section coming back too. It’s really exciting if they really are dropping hints for new upcoming features!

Honestly, I thought about something similar yesterday.

With reactions/emotions now being given by other villagers, Dr. Shrunk's role would be somewhat non-existent. However, I thought that they could add The Roost as an underground pub, as an extension of the museum (but not inside it), and Dr. Shrunk and K.K. could perform there in specific days of the week: K.K. could have his pocket show on Saturday nights, and Shrunk could have a stand-up comedy show every Thursday.

The idea would be to make The Roost a point of interest with different kinds of attractions besides just drinking coffee. You would also be able to work there everyday before 7pm (with these special events being available from 7pm to 9pm).

The Roost could also attract special visitors that would appear exclusive at the pub, like Lottie, Tortimer, Rover, Kapp'n, Digby, Reese & Cyrus, Porter... and even some that would eventually have a role in the game (or already have), like Redd, Katrina, CJ, Phineas, Flick, Celeste, Pascal, Labelle...

That place would be far more interesting than it once was, and it would be a simple, but effective way to make these characters available for interaction without the need to make specific buildings or events to justify their appearance.

I wish I could have stumbled upon this dialogue myself, but it's still super exciting!
I'm glad they've decided to do gradual updates like this, it gives us something big to look forward to.
