The Rage Quit Thread

This.
that battle in particular is so frustrating (in every mystery dungeon game) especially when you have to keep restarting over and over

Yes. Ironically, I had more trouble reaching the spire than actually beating the boss. I was a Totodile and my partner was a Vulpix. Darn those Porygon Zs and Lunatones.

I dunno, it's frustrating with either part; hopefully you make it to the top alive, and then you have to beat the boss.

rinzler in kh: dream drop distance
i seriously spent like a week trying to beat it
then i stopped
after a while i decided to try again, i leveled up sora twice and i beat it on my first try wow

pokemon. when you're trying to capture a pokemon and they don't stay in the pokeball. and hax, i usually try not to rage quit for that though
LoZ links awakening made me rage quit so bad i haven't touched that game in like 2 months and i kind of forgot now why so i probably should play it again
and brawl is pretty rage inducing as well

^This, especially when the game thinks for a sec to let it catch, but is like nope *trollface*

Yeah, link's awakening has made me rage quit as well (Stupid genie in lvl 2!)

If you thought that AI racers on Mario Kart 7 were bad, then Super Mario Kart is downright cheap on that regard with it starting at 100cc. I can't seem to get a gold cup on Star Cup, because these tracks are too tight and CPUs are absolutely unfair. They keep chucking items at you whenever you're close to them, they skip over obstacle at any given moment and they do some rubber-banding. Oh, and Mario and Luigi are quite annoying because they spam stars. Two Game Overs later, I rage quited. This is one of those games I can't wait to abuse Restore Points to cheat against those CPUs. Whoever progammed that AI is a real sadist!

Final boss of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
I had 1 HP, so I was going to heal. Before I could, someone in the audience threw a can at me and I died. I was done with that game for months.

Another one is the final level of Super Mario Galaxy 2. SERIOUSLY?! NO HITS AND NO CHECKPOINTS?!?! WHY!!!!!!!

The AI in MarioKart 7 was challenging, but it was really easy to get 3 stars in a cup to make up for it. Just get first in each race, unlike in the Wii version where it was something crazy like get first in all races, don't hit any walls and don't fall off the stage, and spend most of the race time in first place.

Every dungeon in Zelda games makes me want to rage quit. :{ I am a big baby.

Depends on the Zelda game. The one I had the most trouble on was probably the Shadow Temple in The Ocarina of Time: Master Quest. Master Quest is just so... UGH!

I feel ya. I ragequitted on Dodongo's Cavern in MQ. I could not for the life of me get the light to the web so I could get the bombs. Then I found a method online to get them by jumping off the higher ledge while going at an angle thanks to hitting a wall/arch with the Deku Stick. Saved my playthrough XD
All the cows in Jabu Jabu's Belly kinda creeped me out, though.

I haven't played Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest in years because of Bramble Scramble. I should probably go back to it even though I know there are other bramble levels that are even harder than it later in the game. -.-

So, I've finished The World Ends With You, and now OMG.
THE REAPER REPORTS!
I'm trying so hard to beat the bosses on hard mode, but no matter what I do, with Beat's fast moving and the boss dude's ''FREEZE TIME!'' stuff it's just omg...

I've ragequitted on lots of games from getting stuck. I remember when I was playing Pokemon Platinum I prepared myself very well, and I got down to Cynthia's last Pokemon, a Togekiss. It defeated me and I had no money left to buy more healing items or revives so I ragequitted. Years later I eventually got the game pre-owned and beat it.

Every zelda for the wii... swinging that frigging sword during a boss battle only to have link do something else... Ive said several times that if they couldnt make it absolutely glitch free and seamless they shouldnt have done it in the first place. Its a nice gimmick but not good at all for precision... several times have i rage quitted because link wouldnt swing or stab the way I was... stupid stupid stupid idea they should have focused more on actually making the games interesting.

Any mario kart, ill get first in all the previous races, in the last race ill be 1st place, just a few yards from the finish line, and then blue shells come

gmail and yahoo mail, for some reason always want to **** up, ill compose an email, hit send, and it freezes. Ill want to attach documents, and then the attach documents button wont work (until i sign out then back in) happens frequently no matter what computer im on, I usually just rage quit and never send them.

When I get a game over in a video game and haven't saved for a long time. It almost never happens nowadays because so many games have auto-save features. But before they had that, I could sometimes play all day, never save, die, and lose hours of work. I usually pick the game back up again and continue, but depending on how much I lost, sometimes I won't play again for days.

I just HATED the Death Star level in the Force Unleashed. It was one of those levels where you can't get to a certain area because an impossible gap that you couldn't cross was in your way.

In general with games, I keep trying no matter what. There really isn't a puzzle or course or something that makes me give up. I'm determined in that way. The only time I ever really give up is when there is no possible way for me to finish for whatever reason. If I can't finish something, I don't bother anymore.

Definitely. It's really annoying -_-. Especially if I have to get going somewhere.

Also when you're out shiny hunting and you keep on hearing about people running into shinies in the wild left and right and you've run into one so far in the wild O_O. Some people just have all the luck :p. <-- it made me want to quit shiny hunting for a bit, but I'm NOT going to give up that easily XD.
