That's because you never are finished due to the lack of linear progress and the fact you can't just freeze your town to stop it from changing. :/

I don't get how people can still be obsessed w/ ACNL after it being out for nearly 3 years. I got bored of the game after less then a year of play and had to start using the TT day by day when/if i play method. My 2 towns are currently somewhere in late September 2014

Yes. It is very addictive. There was once I played for 7hours straight. There's never a day where I can't think about animal crossing haha. My lovely villagers are also the one who keep me coming back to the game.

There's just so much to do. Landscaping, collections, badges, friendships, decorating. It's an amazing game.
