the Official First Day of Summer!

It's officially summer, so how are we all doing with out summer DIYs and such? My beach room is coming together nicely, though it's currently a wedding room and I'm just gathering up shell items/DIY.

Also, how are we doing for bugs/fish? Beetles are hard to catch in this game.

I've gotten all the recipes, now it's just a matter of collecting the shells needed. I'm missing the shells for one flooring, one wall and the wand.

I feel I had the opposite problem for the cherry blossom DIYs. Had all the petals I could ever need but had to hardcore hunt balloons to get all the recipes.

As for critters... I'm having the same struggle as you with the ocean sunfish. I thought I would get like 10 of them before I'd ever see a proper shark but no. All sharks and some duplicates yet this flat fiend is avoiding me.

Also missing one of the beetles, but other than that I think I have all the June bugs and fish.​

The sunfish won't be available until July. I've got all the summer DIYs. I should try and craft the set.

I got a few summer DIYs, but I haven't really used the blue summer shells. I made that ocean flooring or whatever it is. My floor is made out of water and makes splashing sounds when I walk on it.

I've gotten all the summer DIYs and crafted them. I've caught all the bugs and fish for June. I have Gemini closet and Cancer table DIYs. I'm pretty much set and ready for July after the bug off next week

Got all the stuff, now I just collect the summer shells and guess I'll keep selling them off to people lol. Might try to trade with people for their surfboards. Got all the bugs/fish I think on day 7?

I also enjoy the summer seasonal clothing at Able Sisters. Feels more like stuff I wear irl on a daily basis lol. I don't even want to touch my sweaters now

I’ve gotten some of them, but they don’t really fit my town’s aesthetic so I’m not going hardcore for them. Got the wand, pochette, and wreath and that’s all I really wanted.

I’m really hoping that the bugs that come out in July keep me busy for a while. I thought I was nowhere near close to getting all the summer DIY but I managed to get them all fairly quickly, as well as the bugs and fish.

I have all the diys. No thanks to Isabelle. I have also managed to catch all the sharks. I have not caught hardly any bugs though. Only the drone beetle and scorpion. I haven’t seen any of the Goliath beetles. I hate the beetles that spawn on trees. I never see them before they fly away. Ugh

I kept forgetting about the goliath bettles and every single time I would see one it's because I scared it off. I got lucky and managed to snag one right after catching a fish so I was able to see it ahead of time. I believe that July is going to bring with it a bunch of bugs that spawn on trees.
