The fireworks show is AMAZING!

I'm finding it really underwhelming, to be honest.

There's just not much to it, is there?

The lighting is really cool, but after I'd watched a few fireworks go up and got some pretty useless items from Redd, I was done.

It seems to stop the villagers from crafting any DIYs too, which is annoying.

I agree with the DIY thing. Like I can understand them not crafting during the firework show, but the whole day? It is quite annoying. I really depend on them for new DIYs! Also to share the ones I already have.

The things from Redd are just supposed to be fun, not necessarily useful. I am really excited about the balloons though and can’t wait to get a ton of them for decorating purposes!

In my country we only do fireworks for new year so all while moving around my island I get happy new year vibes. hahaha I love fireworks so much. Love it! one event I might tt back to when august is over. <3

I loved the fireworks, I attended a little party and it was so much more fun!

My fireworks event just ended. It was really great. I really enjoyed it.

The villagers have different dialogues when the event has 1 hour left and they have a single conclusion-style dialogue after 12am. Isabelle also has a few dialogues after the event finished too.

Remember to look up the sky at the last minute of the fireworks show, which is 11.59pm, the fireworks keep on shooting non-stop.

I really enjoyed the fireworks from last night! I never really experienced them before in the previous games, except the original where it just wasn't the same seeing them reflect in the pond. Looking forward to seeing it again next Sunday!

I found them entertaining at first the atmosphere and the villagers dancing around shouting encouragement. But after filling my pockets with junk from Redd - mostly balloons in every which colour the excitement had worn off a bit! Of all i found the sparklers the most disappointing. Everyone knows the best thing to do with sparklers is to spell out your name as many times as possible before it dies. I don't get why it didn't move at all!

ive had an absolute blast with the fireworks festival. i found the sparklers and fountain fireworks adorable and loved lighting them with my villagers. By far one of my absolute favorite thn=ings in the game. The custom fireworks was a nice touch, i enjoyed releasing big yoshi into the sky

It’s not spelling out your name, but if you hold A while holding the sparkler your character will wave it around in a loopy figure 8 pattern.and they make a cute excited face while doing it too.

Ah! Thanks - will have to try that next time. I couldn't work out why it didn't move at all just stood there and watched it die out!

How much did Tom Nook spend to host them? The fireworks surely didn't stop for several hours!

I loved the variety in the fireworks; they looked stunning! I wasn't really a fan of the raffle prizes, though; the handheld stuff is nice (although I'd be scared of tripping if I ever held the balloons), but I'd have preferred some cool (firework themed? I miss the fireworks table) furniture items or DIYs. It was still fun, though, and it was so cool seeing my villagers light their own sparklers!

I love seeing the villagers all in one place having fun. There were a couple villagers out on their own and one in their house - I wish they all would have been there!

I had a great time last night! Not only are the fireworks beautiful, but as the OP said it’s so great to see all the villagers out celebrating. I love all the cute items you get from Redd, especially the bubbles. My bf came over my town and we enjoyed watching them together. If we can’t go do fun things in the real world, at least we can have a fun time in AC.

I really liked it. I didn't stay around for too long, though. Isabelle gave me a star bopper, Blanche gave me a free sparkler, I got goodies from Redd, I saw a Metroid logo in the sky, took funny pictures with Mott, then I spoke to Mott before being done for the night.

I really enjoyed the fireworks, especially getting to make custom ones with patterns. My sky was filled with various fruit, villager portraits, Hello Kitty, and Pikachu.
