No, Obama is not right for any country, he wants more change then he can handle, things like that take time, it's like trying to cram the day before a test instead of studying the entire week, it just doesn't turn out good, McCain on the other hand doesn't want enough change and wanted to continue a pointless war in Iraq. Fact: Iraq and Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 and we're just attacking them for oil and spending millions of dollars a day to the troops to continue a pointless war.cryindarkness said:

My 2 cents, I think America is no more ignorant of other countries than other countries are, I mean a lot of people don't reach outside of their own communities because they don't need to in order to live. This does make some ignorance true, but I bet I can find ignorant places all over the world
As far as Obama goes, may be I am being idealist in really agreeing with a lot of his plans. Mega you said he is trying to take on more change than he can hope to do, but isn't that what you should aim for? If your goal is really out there you will try harder for it and probably get farther than you otherwise would. In karate you want to aim your punch past the target, otherwise you let up too soon. Second it isn't like cramming. It would be like cramming if suddenly Bush wanted to change a ton more right before he left office, Obama is just starting, he has as long as he is in office to do things.
Honestly I think as far as race went as many people voted against Obama because he was black as voted for him. The black community is still a minority and besides that they already overwhelmingly voted for democrats. I just don't think race was as big of an issue as the media tried to make it...
