I also had to wear a post-op patch for a small amount of time. I had a bump on my eye and they had to cut it... it was hard to see, and I can't imagine how it would be like to be blind.JJH0369 said:Because of my accident, I now know what it's like to be half-blind. I'm not blind, but due to the eyepatch I can't see. And without it, either-Kyle said:I also had to wear a post-op patch for a small amount of time. Taste was important for me, as knowing what was ok to eat and not.
No I agree.Bulerias said:Hearing and touch.
Unorthodox choices no doubt. Hearing because of, well... music. I understand Beethoven wrote musical pieces while deaf, but still.
but-but-but... YOU COULDN'T TASTE CAKE! OR COOKIES! OR...Gengar said:Just thought of this-
In a way, having no sense of taste can be beneficial to your health. Say for example, Doughnuts and Vegetables taste the same (they'd both taste like nothing), you would have no need to eat the doughnut. You could eat healthy foods all the time, since you couldn't tell the difference between them and unhealthy foods anyway...and then, well, you'd be healthy...er.
