Thank you NINTENDO!

To be fair, if they're supposed to be a rare spawn, we shouldn't have been catching 40+ a day. That's not a rare spawn!

TBF, they only spawn in hybrid gardens. That could be considered somewhat rare. I digress.

I can't tell if this is serious or not... lmao

But anyhow I do think the spawn rate of peac0ck butterflies was WAY too high, I literally saw them more than common, yellow and tiger butterflies. They're supposed to be a rare bug. Their spawn rate was overtuned. Period.

Also... how on earth is tarantula farming cheating?? It's literally using the game's mechanics to our advantage just as we did for 7 years in New Leaf, as island beetle farming was the main source of income there. How is it cheating? You're not using exploits nor third party software, you're literally using the game's mechanics.

Though WIld World didn't charge you to move buildings or build ramps and bridges..... Not that we could anyways.

Good point. I'm very old school still in NH tho, and I pretty much only fish, so my income will be slow no matter what happens in the future with their updates haha. If Wild World had the moving option for buildings I woul be b r o k e.

I am still seeing a massive amount of pea butterflies, maybe it is just day to day spawn rates? Hang in there, there are other ways to get money and grind, I am sure if the rates are too low we will see another patch soon!

Even with hybrids you're not supposed to be finding 40+ a day. That defeats the point of having rare spawns. They're a rare spawn from having hybrids. Not a super common spawn if you happen to have hybrids. I literally stopped catching them because I didn't care anymore. I shouldn't see them more often than the common butterflies.

I enjoy the New Leaf community, everyone was so nice and welcoming.
I wasn't really on here much during New Leaf era, so anyone can feel free to add commentary/correct me if I'm wrong. But I was apart of the Instagram Animal Crossing community when it came out and people were going NUTS in the beginning. The amount of Bells you had to pay just to buy a villager was insane... and trust me, people were scamming left and right back then.
Hopefully the ACNH community will fix itself as time goes on?

Ok but can I just call attention to this.... lol
You are not a hard working farmer. You have no ends to meet in this game. This is Animal Crossing, not Little House on the Prairie.
PLEASE chill out and enjoy the game for what it is... or... don't! 😅

I love Little House on the prairy until that one episode gave me nightmares and continue on for multiple season after. And please don't mention what it is. I don't want to be reminded of it.

On the other hand Anne of Green Gable is much better and has no bad thing in it.

It is not, its an exploit. That why it got nerf by Nintendo.
Isn't that what you're doing with your massive garden? Tarantula farming is making more spawn points for the Tarantulas and fewer spawn points for the other bugs, so the Tarantula will be more likely to form. You spam your island with rare flowers to increase the probability of rare butterflies. Both cultivating the land to get the bugs you want.

Every time I see one of your posts it’s always nasty and targeted towards a specific part of the community. If you want your game to be so pure and unaffected by others, you probably shouldn’t be on forums or online sharing platforms in the first place.
You know they don’t care about their game being pure, they just wanna complain and dictate what a true animal crossing player is.

Lol allllright then. You are clearly a troll at this point- one that we are all now feeding into by keeping these threads going.
So this has been fun, but I'll see you guys on a more productive thread. 😂

How to avoid a major point in a conversation by talking about the other topic that the person slightly mentioned 101.

Close but not quite. I'm making my island pretty while farming tarantula is destroying a whole ecosystem. The flowers I made are going to be decorated on my island.

Also I'm not against Tarantula farming but I had to make a point and the point was that how other people play their game affects everyone. TTers or non-TTers. And Nintendo didn't intend it to be that way hence the nerf.

I made a garden of blue flowers some days ago bc I wanted it to look magical, and I was suprised to see that my whole island was flooded with pea buttefliers. I dont think the patch has anything to do with exploits or TT

EDIT: Also I was getting tarantulas to spawn on my island very often?? Like, it has hundreds of lowers, dozens of trees, even so I was seeing tarantulas often. Running around my island was very dangerous haha I think the spawn rate was just messed up.

Probably because pre 2016, there was no amiibo functionality.

Also, nowadays, people are still selling villagers, they just switched to NMT for the currency

It's true. Once the amiibos came, there wasn't as much demand. That and everybody had their villagers by then. I actually saw people scanning in villagers for other people for free

I'm stumped. Are you trying to make your island a tarantula farming station, but when you plant flowers and those water bugs of course getting in the way, that's one of the reasons why you can't get any?

That's what the nook mile islands are for. Specifically the bamboo one. Chop down all the trees, place fences on the rocks on the beaches (Bonus points if it's raining) and now the only bug that can spawn is the tarantula.
