Tell me what you think about cats :)

I’m not a pet person in general, so I wouldn’t have one as a pet. But they are so sweet and cute. :,3

I like them but I’m highly allergic to them. My eyes will swell shut rather quickly if I touch a cat. It’s a shame because I really like Siamese and calico cats and Japanese bob tails.

My favourite animal to have as a pet. I've kept cats consistently since 1994.

My current two are named Sebastian and Luca and they're the sweetest boys. When I've guests they're always impressed at how friendly they are and how well they understand spoken directions. They know the names of rooms, upstairs and downstairs, and words that relate to their needs - e.g. "brush". And they know how to communicate those needs and their boundaries with me. Last week my friend was impressed when Seb jumped onto the sofa and patted my arm (how he communicates hunger), I asked "are you hungry?" (he and his brother both meow), "do you want breakkie?" (meow again), and "can you wait in the living room?" when they followed us into the kitchen for food (they walked back into the living room). Also, when my friend had to leave, I asked, "can you go upstairs for me?" (both immediately walk upstairs).

I adore my furry sons. Them being so attentative is a bonus. 💜

I was more of a dog person until I found a litter of feral cats under the porch. They are like 2 years old toddlers, they follow me everywhere, throw tantrums if they don't get what they want, and what they want is ALL my attention, they are more clingy than dogs. I can't use the bathroom privately without them destroying the door. Sometimes they steal my food, my figurines, my clothes, my bed. They like rolling on my dirty clothes and put their head in my shoes...😬 sometimes they hide treats in my shoes as well. They like playing to hide and seek or running after balls. They hate the computer unless I play videos with mice or birds.

They pulled my hair, tried to climb on me and yelled at me while I wrote this.

I am a cat mum, very well trained 😂 I love my furbaby he is part of the family 🐈🥰

My cats just sit there looking pretty in their clothes and are very well behaved. That’s the advantage of having cats that are dolls.

I'm more of a cat than a dog person. I like looking at and interacting with them, I collect cat themed video games, and even have some cat art decorating my place. I did have my own cat once, but I wouldn't really want to take care of another one again.

I loooove cats! Everything about them is cute, especially the way they meow! I even made one too many cat OCs...and one of them, Crisp, is my fursona.

Of course, I'd love to adopt and raise one, since I prefer their temperament over that of dogs. But my current living circumstances prevent me from doing that so it'll have to wait...

I've loved cats ever since a litter of feral cats was born under my mom's washing machine when I was 12. I befriended the black cat from it and named her Zekrom, though I never kept her inside because me and my whole family have asthma, but I did feed and spend time with her whenever she came into my porch :3 I now love cats so much that I decided to create a half-insane, lemon-obsessed, bipedal cat and call her my fursona.

I don't have a cat, but I wouldn't mind having one. They're nice animals, and their temperaments are generally calm. I do prefer just seeing them at others houses though, it's cool to have the benefits of having a cat (getting to pet them, them calming you down) without the responsibilities that come with owning one yourself.

I'm not particularly a dog or a cat person, probably somewhere in between. Sometimes I'd be energetic and totally able to keep up with and love having a dog, but sometimes it's the opposite and cats are what I'd prefer. Honestly that's why I don't really have any pets, financial aspects aside. I feel like I wouldn't be capable of looking after them as much as they'd need

I love cats! ♡ Everything about them melts my heart. I really enjoy having them around. They’re just so precious and I’d love nothing more than to spend my life caring for them!

I love cats and pretty much all animals! I really don't understand people who say they hate any animal. I'm sure some have their valid reasons, but most I find are just nasty people and it's really a red flag.

This! So much this.

Also, my bf jokes that when he wins the lotto, I can finally have my farm with mini goats and piggies, etc.

I’m a big cat lady through and through. I don’t mind dogs of course, but cats are just so clean and cuddly and set clear boundaries, which I can relate to. I’ve had at least one cat my whole childhood, though lately we’ve had two. One of our cats sadly ran away in August and that was a very heart wrenching time for us, so we’ve taken several months to grieve. But this past Saturday a friend of my mom’s coworker gave us a 10 week old kitten from the strays she’d been sheltering.

This kitten is the sweetest little thing ever. She’s extremely playful but is also affectionate and wants to always be where the people are. Within the first day she was cuddling up to everyone and sleeping in the same bed. We love her a lot, though our first cat is taking a bit to adjust!
