Here's how it works:
1. You have to talk about how you decided to join TBT.
2. At 7:10 pm
(UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) (in 21 minutes) I will decide which story I think fits into these categories. This chart has categories and prizes.

Most interesting: 100 bells
Most hilarious: my Cake
Story that seems like you joined because someone told you to: 10 bells
Longest story: 50 bells
Story most like mine: 20 bells

Good luck!

i saw a dream town with an afternoon tea set and joined just to get one. my first thread here was to buy it. i'm pretty sure i did that before i introduced myself in the intro board.

Back when animal crossing came out I got it and then never played it until six months passed. When I finally played it I wanted to know if I had really cool villagers or really lame villagers. I searched most popular villagers and I found this site and the list of popular villagers. Turns out I had some pretty good villagers. I kept checking back every week and browsed this site and saw people were getting really cool villagers for bells, free,or from a trade. I wanted to get EVERY single popular villager because I thought I would be the cool kid on the block ;-;. I also wanted to make my house extremely cool and I saw that they had that too,my house was such a mess I had random stuff on the ground and furniture that was so un matched. I also saw that people were going to eachothers towns and I was really lonely at the time,no one I knew played animal crossing and I had no clue how to go to other towns so I thought that this would be a start.I thought that I can buy everything by going to the island all the time, ah I was such a fool. I went every single stinking day and thought that 800k would be enough to buy someone that I really wanted (Rosie) that never worked. I also thought this site was perfect for me, it had everything that I wanted to do in animal crossing, everything that I couldnt do in city folk.. I just joined early april and I became a senior member and got all my dream villagers and now I am currently getting people their dreamies. (I have no life XD) Seriously I spend all my free time on this site idk even know what I'm doing anymore send help .3. So my main point is I joined this site to have a really good time with people that enjoyed animal crossing as much as I wanted to, and to make some new friends and make my dream town with all the villagers I wanted and the coolest house and stuff

When I firstly started playing ACNL I wanted to see if there were any cools villagers to choose from, my sister told me that there were villagers like stitches which she would die for so I said, well how about if I google something about this little cub and lets see if someone is giving him away, I then found that the first thread thata google showed me up was a cycling thread at the villager trading plaza, so I decided to give it a try and joined TBT =)

Since then I've traded, played and shared most of my experiences in the game, I finally was able to get all my dreamies and had fun when some guys helped me bulding my city!

lol I also remember how hard I tried to get my first dreamie, which was Chrissy, I felt a litlle ashammed to even trigger a reply stating that I wanted her since I was newbie and I knew that I wasnt gonna get her just because I wanted her, so there you can imagine me waiting patiently once someon offered her for free to me =)

i joined because i was lurking through the forums and tumblr wasn't working out for me and when i had ruby for a dreamie, i started getting very good luck from the forums and i decided to stay. i never really introduced myself on the introduction board but i ended up noticing that the community was really nice.

Well, for me is not that interesting, but i will tell you anyways.
Since none of my friends have a 3ds, I miss in a lot of online content, so I was serching for a place to find people to play AC, and i found tumblr, but i dont know how to use it, then I tried reddit, but it too fast for me, like you post something and in 10 minutes is in the page 5, but then i finally found this place, and its perfect for me, people are kind, and is way slower than reddit, and why is that better you ask, because as in life you are not supposed to do everything is just one day.
Thanks for reading.

I was really getting into ACNL and finally got Wi-Fi available so I decided to see what kind of online communities there are to expand my gameplay experience. I was thrilled to find out that you can actually get the villagers you want with Wi-Fi. I really wanted to get Marshal, Julian and Ankha before knowing that after seeing them in my campsite (Marshal) or some Dream Towns I visited when in a mall with Wi-Fi (lol) (Ankha, Julian and Merengue).
I also wanted to buy/trade items. So I signed up and started using the Re-Tail and Villager Trade. After I didn't have that much time to play anymore, I moved to other sections a bit (mainly ACNL).

You see, I played ACWW A LOT a couple of years ago, but I had to drop it due to me not being so constant with it. I played it on my old DS, the very first one that came out (that one that's round? Yeah, mine was the blue one). And I really really loved it, I had a beautiful town, but I've always been busy with my extracurricular classes so, like I said, I had to drop it. I sold my DS because I thought I'd never use it.

Years later, after the 3DS was already at like 6 months of being released, I decided to waste my savings on a DSi XL and I happily thought I could play the games I loved such as FE:A and, ofc, ACNL. ACNL is one of the biggest reasons I got it, since I wanted to remake my beautiful town and get awesome villagers again and overal have fun. I didn't know the amount of things it moved then.

I got my DSi hoping I would be able to play my wonderful games-- guess what? Ofc 3DS games don't work on it! I found out like 2 months after buying it, since I decided to get it because it was cheaper and I actually hate the 3D function. I was so devastated, but I still played ACWW once again. It made me ease the pain, but it just wasn't the same.

Finally, last year in christmas, I asked for two things: a 3DS XL and a Kindle. My parents came home with 3 presents, two big boxes and a small one. They gave me the small one first and when I opened it-- BOOM! A 3DS BOX! I was so happy, I almost teared up---
Until I opened it, and all I found was a piece of paper with a 3DS drawn on it (I wish I had taken pics, damn). I was so-- disappointed, but I laughed anyways, because it was actually funny.

OH, BUT IT'S NOT A SAD STORY AT ALL! Because I actually got both of my presents, my red 3DS XL and my Kindle.
I got it without games, though.

So as for how I got my game? I was walking around with my mom and I saw the game for a cheap price. I was aware that we didn't have money, so I didn't say annything even though my mom asked me multiple times if I wanted it. Turns out, when we came home, she gave me a bag-- and the game was inside!

I've never been happier <3 Aaaaaand I found TBT by chance, searching for tips about the game and guides and whatnot!

I was originally got on to here as a one time thing, to get a Samus Helmet. I was offered to giveaway ALL 151 TBT Bells to get it, little did I know, I would've given them 1.2 MIL bells, until someone told me I was paying WAY to much, and gave it to me for free.
Little did I know I would use TBT Forever......ever......ever...
OMG GUYS, TBT IS A TRAP!!!
