Last night I was playing on my switch, I left to get something, came back and saw my cat had batted it onto the floor.

Now it's kinda slow, theres a little green line appearing at the bottom now and then, sometimes my villagers have to fad in. It also over heats extremely easily.

Should I move my villagers to a lite? I have one. In case my switch crashes? Or will it crash? I'm unsure on what to do. I also dont know much about electronics,

Maybe just a little advice? :-:

I'm not a hardware expert, but it sounds like your cat has possibly damaged the CPU based on the issues you described. Backing up your villagers on a lite is a good idea, especially if you desperately don't want to lose them.

I'd also try and get the Switch repaired, if possible. Since it's still in (somewhat) usable condition, a repair shop might be able to fix it, but it depends on the extent of the damage (take into account the cost of repairs too - personally, I'd buy a new Switch if it's cheaper).

Ok, I'm gonna try to get it repaired, but moving my villagers just in case, is a good plan.
