Swimming?

Has anyone got anything in that large tank in the first room of the fish museum? The one in the corner with lots of sand?

I thought it looked like a tank for underwater creatures like the one in new leaf. Mine is empty even though I’ve donated lots of river and sea fish so it was just a thought...

I'd like to imagine, seeing that this game is more focused on island life than even new leaf was, that swimming/diving/something of the sort is going to be added in the future. I'll be hopeful for it anyways!

i don’t have anything in there so i really hope that swimming and deep-sea creatures make a return in a future update

The one on the far right? I've thought about it, but the first room seems to be freshwater fish only, so it might be the tank for the summer river fish like the arapaima or the piranha? I do hope we get to go swimming again though

Can confirm. My friend has her game set to southern hemisphere and she has the arapaima and piranha in that tank

I just visited an island in the Southern Hemisphere, and can also confirm that a chunk of those fish go in the tank on the far right!
