Superstition (numbers) and ACNL ...... (lol? ;n;?)

When I notice the clock in ACNL, MANY times has it been 4:44 or 11:11 (= 4)
And in my culture 4= DEATH !!! (and 9= suffering fyi)
Probably because I Time Travel a lot, but it's still giving me the spooks. and the lol!

are any of you guys a -little- superstitious ? x3

I remember my great aunt telling me how she would never ride the 4th and 9th wagon of the metro *--*

This thread is silly, haha but I feel like evacuating this feeling, would remove all the possible bad jujus in my 3DS xD

For the seeing those times constantly I think it's something like this - you check the time regularly but those numbers hold significance to you so you remember seeing them? A lot of people experience the 11:11 thing out of AC too.

I also like the word play possible around numbers in general, there is a stereotype of bousouzoku clans that uses these typical unlucky numbers, and modifies the meaning replacing sounds with 'scary' evoking kanjis. (sorry english isn't my first language)


Yoroshiku = nice to meet you/ take care of me /
4649= yoroshiku (the pronounciation)
夜露死苦　=　Night/ Ethereal (or dew)/ Death/ and Suffering (you don't want to mess with these people in a nutshell xD )

and it is all pronounced the same!
