Splatoon Super Mushroom vs Starman (Super Star) Splatfest

I know this is a bit of a long ways away, but it's never too soon to start voting an picking your team!

This will be held in January 2021.
I'd personally like a Super Mushroom. Although a Super Star would be pretty cool, it's easier to get the other super cool power-ups in Mario such as the helicopter or penguin if you have a Super Mushroom with you!
What team will you be choosing?

Even if it's limited, I think invincibility would have far more uses than super size. Plus I think it increases speed in the later games so that would be fun.

Too bad the fire flower isn't an option, I'd choose that one without even thinking.

I think it should’ve been team fire flower vs team tanuki suit and I’d choose the fire flower

I don’t play a lot of traditional Mario and I know there the mushroom is the most common and useful, but I mostly play Mario Kart and that’s where the Superstar definitely shines.

I would probably gonna pick Super Star here, I just prefer it's power in general over the mushrooms (even if they may offer more variations of powers, I'm not a huge fan of every mushroom power however).

Wow, surprising they are doing a new splatfest and so far into the future. Not complaining though!

I'm picking Super Star. I've no strong opinion about either really, but I just think the black splatfest t-shirt for Super Star looks neat. If I don't really care for the teams I just go for whatever I'll look cute in/ink colour.

It was supposed to be the last splatfest but they’re doing all these special events for Mario’s 35th anniversary so we’re getting a bonus splatfest!

Oh yeah they’ve been doing repeat splatfests probably due to the whole covid situation.. there were 2 already and I think there’s 2 more upcoming not including the Mario one

ahh okay! I didn't understand it all cause I don't play Splatoon but I have some friends who play it so they talk about splatfests a lot.

Actually might go with Mushroom now haha. I’ll decide for sure once we can actually choose a team when the event is held early next year.

My first instinct is to go with "Super Size from a Super Mushroom", so I'll probably end up going with that. I use to think about which team to join for Splatfests, but I usually just follow my gut now~
