Yes it is annoying to see only popular villagers to get merchandise of themselves. My sister loves Biskit and he l can't find anywhere.

I bet the person who posted about hazel merch was happy to see all the fanart of her when NH came out

Similarly, I feel like Aurora (my fave) was super overlooked/niche when NL was in its prime, but I've seen a lot more love for her since the release of NH. Not to the extent that I see a bunch of aurora merch everywhere, but I'm happy people have seen the light

I'm p sure Rolf was fairly popular, I remember him being in one of the higher tiers on here at some point.

This said I think official merchandise other than cards is very limited in choice of villagers and where unofficial merch (like custom plushies) is concerned, there's usually a lot more choice and creators who are open to taking requests. Etsy and the like are always good places to look.

Ugh, yes, I want Shari so badly but she's so hard to find! It's impossible to find her for sale here or on Reddit, and I'm afraid I may actually have to resort to Nookazon. For some reason, that site really stresses me out, not to mention the ridiculous prices.

I imagine it's impossible to find merch of her, too!

I’ve spent forever trying to collect my dreamies! It’s impossible to find them on the new neighborhood network because literally no one puts anabelle or Antonio for sale :/ they mostly just auto void them

Let me guess they're very expensive like 60 or 100$ because that's what l see a lot for custom plushies of AC.

oof i feel this. i think the whole thing with this is, companies don’t want to invest money making merchandise of unpopular villagers or npcs, in fear of the product not doing well since, they’re on the more unpopular side. that’s why you typically only see the same villagers and npcs being made into plushies and the likes, since those are more guaranteed to do well.

that sort of mindset also carries over into ac trading; people aren’t as likely to post about more unpopular villagers moving out since they don’t believe there’ll be anyone interested in them. that being said, i’d do anything for a big top plushie
