Strange graphical glitches?

My friend is getting some strange graphical problems with her game that's kind of worrying; For one, the dirt where the grass has been worn down is all pixely. She also said that the stones on the ramps leading down to the beach are all messed up as well?

This sounds oddly familiar but searches have brought up nothing. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of or even experienced this themselves?

I haven't heard of anything like this, but yes, it would be really helpful if you could get in screenshots as soon as possible.
Has it been affecting anything else about her gameplay besides looks?

Never heard of the glitch. Does it affect other games besides ACNL?
