They talk about accelerated growth, but it never implies any of these specifics. For example, what if it only accelerated the growth, not the entire life? It wouldn't make much sense to have your soldiers die off sooner than a normal person if you're trying to add all these bonuses.
Yeah, clones usually had a life of about 20 years, I think. Oh, I guess I mis-phrased it. Their whole life is accelerated so they can be bred faster. The reason they did this was because they had to grow a huge army fast.
Edit: Yeah, but they do have good marksmanship, nonetheless. Also, what your saying is correct, but they'd just go in after them.
