Teddy Bear

Scraped knees, and brittle bones
Stitches again, this time, across her neck
She suffers more, when she's all alone
Her ideal concept of beauty was never met

She's patched up and broken,
The other children were afraid of her, and stared
All of her thoughts went unspoken,
For she has not a single friend which whom she could share

Poor broken, little girl
All alone, in this unforgiving world
She never smiles, only frowns
It was as if life's only purpose, was to drag her down

Under, under, a life full of slumber
Trapping her with those demons, was it just another nightmare?
"I will protect you little girl."
What was that voice? she jolted and stirred

A colorful teddy bear, with a bright gleam in its eye
He smiled so daftly, so doughty, not dry,
Her only reaction was to smile back too
He stared directly at her, "I promise, I will protect you."

She examined him closely, and nodded her head
He was poorly sewn back together, stuffing falling from his back.
Broken like her, but a smile held strong
Maybe he wasn't broken, but just stitched a bit wrong.

She fixed him up, his limbs all secured
He was handled badly from a previous little girl
She knew this world to be unforgiving,
But perhaps we all deserve to be patched up, and cared for.

With her new pal Stitches by her side,
She lived her life without fear, because she knew she would always be protected.

THis is kinda sad and inaccurate but here it goes
please dont be offended
I am entering for safetylance

There once was a small Jewish family of four who was living in Poland during World War II. Before they knew it, it was time for them to be evacuated. The family let their two kids hide in an attic of a friend's house so they wouldn't have to see their family going away. Years passed, and the two kids had lived their lives without their loving parents. Luckily, their parents had escaped and travelled back to where they had left their children. The children was nowhere to be found. All they could find was a stuffed bear made of whatever fabrics could be found. Upon it sat a note that read:
"I stitched together our love for each other so we can be united once more."
When the parents read the note, they had realized what it meant. In the kids' hearts, they will always be together though the power of Stitches.

I'm sure we've all been sat in English classes, dreading the thought of writing poems. I'm absolutely useless at them, if I'm going to be honest. This just screamed "effort" to me, and the fact that you did a voice over too, and you're sick?

I love it! I hope this little bear makes you feel a little bit better while you're ill! ^_^
