STARDEW VALLEY ISSUE - someone help <3

Hi guys, as some of y'all know there was a mod in the BETA of multiplayer that allowed more than 4 people to be added to a farm. and ever since the multiplayer came out of beta that mod hasn't worked.

2 of my friends want to join a farm im in but they cant as it wont let the owner of the farm build a house. can anyone help? has anyone worked around this yet? <3
