I'm working all day today so won't really be able to play the event, its nice to know all the DIYs/items can be gotten later!! (still might end up TTing to play it later tho)

Yeah, Nintendo has done this for nearly every event in the game thus far. It seems like they do it to stop people from TT'ing and doing the events out of time

Have fun everyone I know right! Such a useful feature for people who don't have the time to be fully immersed in the event!
Also, I just hopped on PC and didn't realise how big the images were so I apologise for that!
I'm in the UK so won't have the event until tomorrow, but for those of you who have it now - enjoy!

Something tells me we can't have clam chowder, pumpkin pie, gratin, and fish meunière as actual food items for decoration. I wish we could have those.

I was expecting more than a covered pot (they may as well called it pot since we can’t view the casserole :/) and the cornucopia. They are cute, but I don’t count the pot as a food item since you can’t see the food :/. And what’s a Thanksgiving/Harvest Festival without a turkey or pumpkin pie (that we can keep)? I am still excited but I was really counting on getting a lot more food items :/
Maybe under the seasonal section in the catalogue, we’ll have something we can order. Doubt it though since the dataminers would have found them :/

Could you imagine being able to customize the pumpkin pie to look like apple pie or cherry pie? I was so excited when I saw those four food items, then was bummed out after realizing they weren't for decorations. This is one thing that bothers me about this game, is the lack of food items. I was really happy about getting the Yule log. It would be great to see food items during the time Jingle comes around. Having food items in the seasonal section of the catalogue would be cool. By this point, I'm hoping that if Brewster's Café is put in the game, that we'll be able to get many food items from there.I know

I thought it would make more sense to have a whole ton of food items for a harvest festival/turkey day. Ah well. It is what it is. I am trying real hard not to get my hopes up too high with Brewster’s cafe and getting more food & drink items then.

Yeah, it's a huge missed opportunity. You would think there would be more food items. If Brewster's Café is put in the game, I hope they do a lot with it. One thing I loved about it in New Leaf was being able to work with Brewster and get stuff from him. I'd hope for a permanent position as a barista.That would’ve been really great
