Splatoon Amiibo Question

I haven't scanned yet, but I plan to get one of the squirrel sisters to move to my town. However, I dunno how the restrictions to convince an RV Camper to move into your town. According to the Animal Crossing Wikia any of the Splatoon and/or Zelda amiibo based villagers "is not adoptable while moving out of town in New Leaf."

I dunno if that means "while a villager is moving out" or "when the RV is prepping to leave the campsite." Could someone explain to me which of these it is, as well as any other tips to ensure I can get a villager of my choice to move in?

Basically any new villager scanned with an amiibo figurine can only move into the town that they were scanned into.

Say you scan in Wolf Link and have him in his RV in your campsite. I then can't get him to move into my town but you can. However once he's in boxes in your town and ready to move out I SITLL cannot get him to come into my town. I can only do that if I have the Wolf Link amiibo figure and scan that in on my own DS.

The only exceptions to these are the new Welcome Amiibo cards (not including the Sanrio collaboration) as they are treated as normal villagers.

Ah ok. That makes sense on how the mechanics work, so I'm guessing as long as the RV isn't prepping to leave, I can move them in :3

When you scan them in I think you get two options, one to come and play and one for them to give you something. Select the come and play option and they'll be in their RV. Then in their RV when you chat to them there's the option to get them to move in The RVs work the same as the NPC RVs, so they'll only be there for the day unless you scan them in every day.

Ah ok. Well, I'll probably stock up on MEOW Coupons first then. I plan to get the entire Splatoon furniture set. Can't decide who I want more though. Viche or Cece. I've always been a Callie fan but I like Viche's name so much better. Exotic and awesome sounding lol.
