Speculation: What do you think the second summer update will include?

My guesses are: Summer fireworks event, Dream Suite and some minor events.
By minor I mean like the museum rally and May day were. Just small little things to do.
I feel the way they announced wave 2 hints at fireworks and there has been some new datamining that shows they have made more progress on Dream Suite since the Redd patch where it was initially mined.
I feel Brewster is going to happen in the same update as harvest festival aka later in they year, so I'm not betting on that just yet.

I've been keeping a close eye on the datamining channel on one of the Discord servers for AC:NH and apparently, the BCSV files for certain villagers were changed in the 1.2.0 update we got in April. One of them was Pascal, who we've just got, but the others were Copper, Lottie, Tortimer, Luna, Wendell and Jack... so I feel those are the NPCs we're going to get back first?
Copper can do Morning Aerobics, Tortimer can host the fireworks (because it's August, and fireworks are a key part of August in every AC game apart from the US Gamecube game and e+), and Lottie can do a summery event of some kind... but then again, Luna and Wendell could also turn up with the Dream Suite next month as well as the "new mechanic" part of the update?

Yeah, it's kinda curious given there's space for him in the game atm... but at the same time, feel as if he's going to be coming in the autumn/winter anyway?
Curious there isn't a file for Brewster yet then?
I think it's a given we'll get the August firework show, but we could also get another Nook Cranny upgrade, which would be great, and Kapp'n. I don't think we'll get Brewster, as it doesn't fit an August release. We'll probably get him in a possible fall update.

Maybe I will expect a plot progression for Label. She will set up her own shop in the second floor. Then I will expect seeing both the princess and gorgeous series. (Anyway, it's a long shot but let me dream!)
I'm pretty sure we'll get the fireworks back, and I Hope something else, but seeing how this is going I don't have my hopes up. I'd like to at least know for sure how many more buildings they're adding to be able to plan the rest of my island, even if we don't know when are we getting them.

I'm really hoping for another building! I love diving so much but once you collect all the DIYs, creatures, and the pearls, there's not much to do with it, is there? I'd love for something that has a little more utility on the island!

It would be great to get Copper and/or Boomer back, and a police station wouldn't take a lot of room. Pretty sure Brewster will be later on, although I'm not too cut up about the lack of gyroids.
I like the way things have been rolling out, as it keeps people from racing through and getting everything done right up front. This has been a more realistic growth of an island that started with a couple of tents.

I'm honestly hoping for something Kappn related. I miss Tortimer's island and the games you could play with friends on New Leaf. I doubt that's going to be a thing, but I'm absolutely starving for some fun things to do with friends like those old minigames.
I think the updates, especially since this one is being released in 2 waves, will be relatively small.

Fireworks because of the background they used in the announcement, plus all the glow boppers and glow wands that came with them in NL
I think the dock will be used for Kapp'n, and he'll take us to another island for minigames or something (I just know the dock has to have more uses than just catching a few rare fish)

I hope Lottie is tasked with letting us do villager interior design. We already have the HHD system for decorating. It could work like Harv's place where you decorate with items you've catalogued. It wouldn't break the game since you can never really get stuff from villagers' houses like you could in New Leaf. I'd rather have that than a whole different game.
About August's update, fireworks every Sunday. I'd like the balloons back, the ones you could get from StreetPass in NL and Phineas in City Folk.
