I wanted to make a thread where people can speculate about what they think the game will be like one year after the release of the game.
For me... I definitely see us having Brewster and The Roost/Cafe on our islands, some QOL improvements like bulk buying from Able Sisters, bulk crafting, etc... I don't see character dialogue being improved, since that might take a lot more work, so I don't really know about that (maybe 2 years after release, but definitely not 1 year after release).
I see us having furniture/DIYs after each of the major holidays, but that is a given.
I also foresee more multiplayer stuff happening like maybe Kapp'n returning to the game somehow... perhaps tied to the dock, but since that spot does have exclusive fish that can only spawn there, it might be a bit bad to have him always wait there, so maybe an option to build a different dock... one that Kapp'n will use to stay on our islands, so we can go to Tortimer Island.
I also see swimming/diving being added, but I dunno when. I see it being tied to the summer in Northern Hemisphere with some cool features added for the southern hemisphere (which is currently in Winter). Alongside another expansion to the museum.
I also see them reintroducing a bunch of the furniture sets from the older AC games (not all, but enough). I can imagine a lot of the wood themed sets (Modern wood, Cabin, etc...) being made into DIYs, since we can collect wood now. I don't see the Cabana set ever returning, since the Rattan set looks really similar to it... then again we do have a log set, so maybe that also explains the lack of the cabin set...
Anyways... What do you think the game will look like a year after release (or even a year from now.) Let's all speculate~!
