Something you hate about New Leaf?

The dialogue. It's so bland and repetitive. I also like that you can't talk to villagers during special events (i.e. Fishing Tourney).
I also hate the moving system. I wish it was something they told you in regular dialogue, and then you could bring it up with a separate dialogue option another day if you change your mind. I don't like having to run around trying to get a ping, or figuring out someone's moving the day before from another villager.

Definitely the villager moving system. Your town reaches cap and, suddenly, it's basically a countdown to when the next villager, for some reason, has to move. If you take a break of a few days a time, which typically happens when you've been playing for a longer time, you often miss the villager that is considering moving away, and the whole friendship you've built with them is gone.

I really hope they change the mechanics behind villagers moving away with New Horizons. I sometimes avoid opening New Leaf because I don't want my villagers to move out if I take a break afterwards.

i hate the streetpass badge. it's the only empty space in my badges because i live in the middle of nowhere and it's KILLING me.

I know how you feel. Trying to get that badge is just a painful. While I live in a town, I only got a
handful of Streetpasses. Most of them didn't even played AC. I never cared for that badge at all,
as I knew it was a impossible case to get it.

I hate the fact that bushes often decide not to grow for seemingly no reason.
You'll plant a succession of bushes that should have no problems?they aren't close to any buildings, PWPs or rivers?yet several of them decide to wilt the next day. It's helped ruin many of my town ideas.

for me it's definitely having to drop money on the floor to transfer it. this method takes so long and i would really rather prefer a system where you can approach another person, and you can enter a trading screen!

What bothers me the most about New Leaf is how they watered down the villager personalities and made the dialog too repetitive. I don't need to be asked 5 times in one day whether I prefer mac and cheese or spaghetti. And I like my snooties to actually be snooty and my crankies to be cranky. It makes me want to go back and play the old games for the better dialog.

I also hate that they took away some of the NPC interaction, like Blathers. I miss having him explain everything to me when I turned something in to the museum. I wouldn't mind if they gave you an option to skip it, like they do with Kapp'n's songs, for people who don't like it, but I really want it.

Finally, it really bothers my OCD that I can't center something in the middle of a table. I think that should have been added with the Welcome Amiibo update.

- I hate that the tiles you put on the ground won?t mesh perfectly around rocks, won?t lead directly to villagers houses (there?s that 1 tile space you have to leave open) won?t cover those little slivers of ground completely. I?m so OCD and it bothers me to the core!!!
- I don?t like that you can?t take care of mayor business on event days.
- I don?t like how early the shops and retail closes, I have so many hybrids that I need to keep the Beautiful Town Ordinance on so I don?t lose them, but the shops close soo early I usually have to TT to earlier in the day.
-That you only get a really short time to answer a villager?s ping before they walk away. I?ve been stuck in another rambling villager?s dialogue while another pinged me so many times, and I always wonder if it was the PWP I have been waiting for!
-I wish the spaces were easier to build PWPs, and plant bushes and such around PWP?s. I have a lovely layout around my river with some outdoor lamps, but one spot is messed up and I?m out of options because It won?t let me plant a bush right by my lamp. I just gave up on it :/

I hate how the amiibo villagers don’t do the character justice. And how they all have just the same few personalities. It’s just so bland and it bugs me. Also only being able to put things in certain places, and you can’t choose where villagers place their houses. I hope New Horizons gives us at LEAST the last thing I mentioned.

I really hate when balloon gifts float by. I cannot stand the noise and it?s even worse that it happens randomly.

The villager moving system--not just out, but in, where they put their homes wherever and destroy parts of the town. Also, the fact that we can't demolish/reconstruct some PWPs. So many times, I've wanted to move my campsite or cafe or whatever, and I can't. I don't want to lose the whole town, I just want it to be able to keep growing and changing with my preferences.

This is not a thing? There has to be something in the way for them not to grow. A rock for example.

I hate how it's just balloon furniture, whereas in Wild World, it was actually almost anything so it was actually exciting and fun to pop them and see what you got. I don't even bother with the balloons in New Leaf because I know it's just going to be a piece of the balloon set (besides silver and gold slingshots).

This is what I hate about this game too. Just because there is bug off or fishing tourney doesn't
mean that I don't want to work on my town, but nope, Isabelle thinks I should take "a day off"
and enjoy the event. Too bad I don't care for these "events" and it sucks to skip a day forward
to finally build the PWP I want, losing time because of this. Same with the amiibos.

I also agree that the dialogue starts to get annoying when you go shopping. Or when you get
everything explained for the 79379th time, like yeah, I know how this work, stop explain the
same thing over and over again, please! I'm not that forgetful, jeez.

What I hate the most is the fact that rocks are indestructible or movable. Like come one, I can't
build anything at that spot just because of some random rock nobody would miss if it's not there
anymore? So that rock is more important than a fancy PWP. Wow, good to know. I also don't like
it that I have to be outside (except for the post office) to throw away any letters. That's so
awkward.

I also really, really hate the unmovable rocks. They have ruined ideas for me and I've made 2 towns and both have 7 rocks. I don't know if everyone has 7, but that's so many places just to be in the way... especially when you don't even know where they're going to be until you actually start the town and look around the new town.
I really hope New Horizons doesn't have this issue with stupid indestructible rocks.

I feel you! I really dislike this part about ACNL too.
If I stop playing the game for an extended period of time, there's the need to deal with the possibility of my favourite villagers having moved on to a different town, or with the possibility that random new villagers may build their houses in inconvenient places. That's too much anxiety for someone who might want a break from the game for a while :') It's also kinda hard considering how there will be times we have to take a break from the game to deal with other, more pressing matters :(

That you literally have no any way to make your villagers use different wall paper/flooring for their home...
Typical example Chief. Chief!! ;v; Why such a... "not nice" floor are you using, though you're my cutie... It's unacceptable!!! ;-;

I agree with the moving process, like... can you stop pinging so often and I hate when I have to s&q and restart just to find out D: Not everyone got all cards.

And the rarity of some bugs and fish.. come on bagworm...

Ever since the Welcome Amiibo update, balloons drop more than just balloon items.

I hate how you can't decide where villagers move to. Why can you choose where PWPs go and not villagers' houses? How does Nook get construction done without the mayor's approval?
