Something strange happened.

So, I was walking in my town,right? Then I saw it - a Famous Mushroom right next to my special stump! I heard you need a perfect town, but I don't have one! I have litter, less than 10 PWP's, and a ton of weeds! Is this normal? I NEED ANSWERS!

you dont need a perfect town! they tend to appear near special stumps so it doesnt matter c:

I think the only mushroom that requires a perfect town is the Rare Mushroom - the truffle that can be found underground. All other mushrooms should pop up through stumps/autumn, though the famous & gorgeous ones are indeed rare. Just not as rare as Rare Mushrooms. Hope this helps!

This is the rare mushroom that only appears in perfect towns.It is pretty rare...I think I've seen only three or four of them and I've been playing ACNL pretty much since it was released.

Wow I did not even know that that one existed! Is it like buried as if it's a fossil? Or do you just need to get lucky by digging around?

It's like a fossil. You'll see the dig spot marker. I've found a couple in my town.
