It isn't reallyTourists can visit the Great Pyramid inside, at least the sections that are open to the public. I don't know if that's still possible or not though. I think that's what that user was referring to, I doubt they broke in and wandered around Indiana Jones style.
Actually, tourists aren't allowed in the pyramids anymore because graffiti and littering became such a problem. I think they stopped letting people back in the late 90s or early 2000s. The pyramids are roped off, so that you can only see the outside and there's garbage everywhere. Oh, and to make the experience all the more authentic, the Great Pyramids are overlooked by various fast food restaurants.
