[Solved!] the campsite method when you have 10 villagers

so I powered up my game this morning to see one of my dreamies in my campsite, but I have 10 villagers. I keep talking to her but she hasn't asked to move in yet. when she does, I think a random villager will get kicked out, but is there a way to control this by quitting the game before it saves?

please let me know and if there are any guides that will help me with this!

I think quitting the game right after the camper mentions a name works (I have heard so from some sources), though you should do that before the game saves!

ok thanks, and they will eventually ask to move in right? I've played 3 games with this villager and she still hasn't mentioned moving, but I guess I just keep talking to her?

tldr: yes. but you quit before even finishing the dialogue, that's the safest way to do it.

i've done this a couple of times, and so far it never auto-saves during the conversation with the villager. i can't confirm if it's possible that it will auto-save during that or not but to be safe, basically, when they mention the name of the villager, don't even click anything just exit already if it's the name of a dreamie/villager you don't want out.

I've moved in quite a few campsite villagers. The campsite villager will definitely ask to move in eventually! Just be patient and keep asking. Even if they say no at first or if you lose the card game, keep trying!

Just happened today with Kabuki.
He tried to ask for Apollo and as soon as I saw his name I reset the game. Next time I tried he asked for Mott. So yeah. As everyone said don't touch anything just to be absolutely sure the game doesn't autosave on you.

Just keep talking to them, and they will eventually ask to play a game with you... if you win, they move in. If you don't, they will say they are not going to move, but you can start the whole process once again... you just have to keep playing until you win. I had to play their game ten times before finally winning, so it can take a while.

I don't know if there are any other options, but up until know I have had two campers and both of them wanted to play a game after having talked to them a couple of times.
