ill start: i was chilling and scrolling through tiktok when i saw one of this girl island hopping for raymond. i was like that’s cool and hopped to the comments to wish her luck, but then i saw it. a glorious angel was selling raymond for the small price of audie (sorry i love you but i did not vibe with your workout fit) and guess who had audie. me, my desperate self had audie.

long story short i got raymond through replying to a tiktok comment lmao no regrets

If you don't get him as the forced smug in the beginning of the game, you can use TT to get more smugs at the campsite

So, me, being the absolute turnip wrangler, I spent hours barging into Japanese twitter selling some turnips. I racked up 700mil and lost 50 years of my life (asking people from a different language and maintaining politeness gave me high dosage of anxiety. [JP people don't appreciate foreigners in their islands that much but will tolerate you if you're fluent in JP]) after gathering that much money (for nearly a month, I think?), I went to camp in Reddit for Raymond sellers. I found a person who were into bells more which was a big chance for me. So I offered and bid a lot.

I won the bid with the offer of 350m and 40NMT.

Now this is the stressful part. Bells aren't exactly easy to transport and I had to do 86 trips. I can't do ABD from other people's island either.
So it took me 16 hours to transport ALL of the bells + NMT. The seller was trusting and so patient and kind that I gave them extra tip for dealing with it and was honest.

It was a mess but worth it. I love Raymond and I did what I could just to get him so I'm happy it ended well. (The seller could've scammed me midway but he didn't!)

funny thing i was looking for marshal and raymond just popped up. it took about 1-2 days. it gets tedious and requires tt'ing. easy when you're binge-watching something to pass the time

That's a steal. So I obviously bought a full inventory. Then I started island hopping for him. Took me hours until I gave up for the day, I even passed up other dreamies just to search for him. I continued in the morning and still didn't find him... Well I got Judy after 200+ tickets though. I took her in while I was feeling lucky and had half of them left. I was feeling generous and decided to give away 50 tickets to people naively thinking I could get him with a few more. Welp didn't find him. I gave up for a few days then I heard about the campsite method.... I decided to do it but there is just one problem. I have Marshal who is also a smug. But I kept doing it even if my chances were low. Done this about a whole day until I gave up. I was thinking of giving up Marshal for now and letting someone hold him. Well lo and behold when I was actually about to do it. A notification popped up here and that person asked if I had an open plot still. I asked them for what though... And I remembered it was for the Raymond giveaway I entered a while back. I was literally excited and frustrated when I kept getting errors when I was about to get him. I finally arrived and I got to see him in game for the first time... I was so happy and yeah... I know its kinda long but I want to thank the user who gave me Raymond. Well I'm done now lol.

I mean, the seller was honest and let me have Raymond early. I think that powered up my determination to not let them down so I persevered. He was asking me if I'm ok or if I needed a break. That stuff made me diligent even more. I mean, I can't just do that to someone, like you know, making them worry.

I gave his daughter some sakura items and 6 sanrio posters as bonus too. He's cool.
