So this happened, and it's not okay. (rant)

I was using turnip exchange to host a DIY give away, and I saw someone stealing and the worst part I asked them to stopped and didn't care and were planning to leave with my DIY, and then she dropped a bag of bells like that was payment.
I know 99.99% of this community is awesome, kind and has helped me so much with this game.

Please follow island rules if you are visiting someone, this won't stop me from ever doing giveaways or hosting, but is just the least we can do.
Sorry I have to vent, let's keep having the best AC community ever.

Shout out to all the awesome members that have helped me!! You are the mvp

this is disgusting. I hope whoever did it is reading this. They are the reason so many players dont play with others!!!! I have seen a lot of stories where people did not close the game in time due to them not knowing till to late and losing stuff. Why would you do that?

Im sorry that happened As frustrating as this is to hear, it always surprises me how rare things like this are. You'd think with no trading system set up you'd hear about it more. Hope this doesn't effect your online experience / trust with people moving forward too much

Thank you so much! Luckily I shut the connection and the game reset, so nothing. But sadly other players where affected by this, and I feel bad that others had to pay the consequences of the actions of one player, that's what bothered me the most.

That is tough. Ooof. I made a residential area so it's easier to fence people if it's crafting but yeah. Hmm. I wonder if there was an easier way to keep them in line...

This is one of the reasons I changed the layout of my stores. Now I can use minimal fencing to block the way.

Unfortunately, that means hosting for DIY recipes is still a dangerous endeavor.

Yeah, I can't confirm 100% this time I made the island private, pretty sure I did, so she might not even be here, but I will think again before using turnip exchange.
