Another villager told me but I can't seem to get the villager that's moving away to ping me Is it just because it's toy day or should I keep trying?

They won't ping on holidays. But! That's only during holiday "hours." Example would be fishing/bug tourneys that "end" when the awards are handed out at 9:00pm. After they're over, your villager can ping.

What did the other villager say? I had one tell me someone else was talking about leaving but I know she isnt leaving so they could just be rumors. I think there is a glitch though with toy day and people wanting to move/not moving.

Well Chrissy just told me that Lolly was thinking about moving but she wasn't sure it was a rumor. Something of that sort. Another villager is moving in right now as well, it's in the house construction stage though.

sadly yes. but if a certain time toy day ends then afterwards that villager should ping you. (like Ettienne said as an example) but don't worry they will ping you again before they're in boxes.

Villagers cannot move out while another villager is moving in, so you can safely get Lolly to ping you tomorrow, while your other villager is in boxes.
