So How Do You Work Around Annoying Rocks and Ponds?

I try to pretend they don't exist. I kind of pave most of my paths around them, but my town is a giant mess right now so I won't be posting any screenshots. If they're really weird, I frame them with flowers sort of.

i treat rocks kind of like bushes, so if i'm using bushes to border paths or whatever i'll add in the rock as part of the pattern.

i love ponds so i use them for decoration, but i only have one beside retail.

I always worked around them. It didn't bother me so much with paths I suppose, but it did with bushes. If I wanted bushes around a house or the train station, it'll make them die near it ;.; Which makes no sense imo. Sigh. I wouldn't mind if the bushes had a rock between it, but I can't even do that since bushes won't grow near them, unable to make a nice and neat border or fence of bushes. Ponds I usually surrounded with flowers and left untouched. I don't put paths near them.

I'm planning on putting some water stream paths around the rocks :3
