I already know about bamboo's stupidly fast overgrowth (thanks for that Nintendo), though I do still kinda want to use in parts of my town as "fences" of sorts

Though if I don't just decide to chop down so they don't plant their stupid seeds everywhere and ruin everything, I figured I may as well get answers to these questions.

Do flowers prevent bamboo overgrowth, or will they eat away at the flowers and still plant their seeds anyways?

How close to trees does bamboo have to be so that it doesn't plant a seed next to them?

Yes, flowers prevent growth. So long as it takes up the space it won't grow. QR codes on the ground will stop it too.

As for how close, it'll sprout bamboo in the nearest spot open from it within i think 2-3 spaces of it. Not too sure the maximum distance of this.

bamboo can't plant beside each other unfortunately (I wish they can) or else I gonna make them a pretty fences after chop down!

Ugh I hate that. I wanted to make a bamboo fence too :( but I settled for bushes and bamboo together. Still hate the 12 lined up limit

so alternate fence idea

not bamboo, but since it's a fence idea I'm just gonna post here

J=Jacob's Ladder
F=flowers
O=empty space

assume all flowers in the central area can all breed with each other

would the Jacob's Ladder barricade prevent them from breeding or would I have to add another "fence" or 2 around of them so that they wouldn't

(actual idea would have trees in the center and flowers on the outside of the fence, but graphing the former is just easier and the results should be logically the same anyways so)
